Platforms/Versions All versions Problem Unable to locate the documentation for Color Finesse Solution The installer for both the plug-in and the standalone application includes a 100+ page electronic User's Guide in Adobe PDF format. There is also a Release Notes document which contains last minute changes and updates which didn't make it into the User's Guide. Where the documentation is installed depends on the version of Color Finesse. For Color Finesse 2.x plug-ins, the documentation is installed into a "Color Finesse Docs" folder within the plug-ins folder of your host application (After Effects, Final Cut Pro, etc.). Locate the plug-ins folder and within that you will find a "Synthetic Aperture" folder. Within that you'll find the "Color Finesse Docs" folder containing the User's Guide and Release Notes. If you are unable to locate the manual this way, you can search for the filename "Color Finesse 2 Plug-in Users Guide.pdf". For the Color Finesse 2 SD and HD+ stand-alone applications, you will find documentation in the Color Finesse 2.x folder in the Applications folder (on the Mac) or in the "\Program Files\Synthetic Aperture\Color Finesse 2" folder (under Windows). If you wish to search for the manual, the filename is "Color Finesse 2 SD/HD+ Users Guide.pdf". For the Color Finesse 1.x plug-ins, the documentation is installed into the "Color Finesse™" folder within the Applications folder on the Mac. Under windows the manual is installed into the "\Program Files\Synthetic Aperture\Color Finesse" folder. If you wish to search for the manual the filename is "Color Finesse.pdf". Under Windows you will also find a link to the documentation in the Start button. You will need a current version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader to open the PDF manual.
